First Meeting

The first step is to get in touch over email. We can then arrange an initial consultation which will last fifty minutes. Our first meeting is an opportunity for you to get a sense of who I am and to ask any questions you may have. We may also talk about what has brought you to therapy as well as your hopes and expectations. I offer both short and long-term therapy and we may use the time to agree on a fixed number of sessions. If you choose to go ahead with the therapy, we will then sign a contract outlining our mutual responsibilities.

Frequency and Duration

Sessions are weekly and last fifty minutes. The length of the therapy varies according to your preference. I recommend that we agree on an initial number of sessions, which we can then review at a later date.

In Person or Online?

I offer both in person and online therapy. We can meet in person either at my Battersea or East Dulwich practice or we can have our sessions remotely if that is more convenient.

What are the fees?

The standard fee for a session is £85. However, there are a limited number of day time appointments available at a reduced rate to students or those who are facing financial barriers to accessing therapy. Please feel free to ask about this during our initial session.

What is your cancellation policy?

In the event of cancellation, I ask that clients give as much notice as possible. I ask that clients give at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation. Missed sessions without 48 hour’s notice are charged in full.

Will our sessions be confidential?

The contents of our sessions will remain confidential. Under exceptional circumstances, such as serious concern for your safety or the safety of others, I may be required to break confidentiality in order to inform the relevant authorities. In such instances, I would endeavour to first discuss this with you. Therapeutic material is discussed in clinical supervision to ensure an ethical and high-quality service.
