One misconception about therapy is that it is only for those suffering from severe trauma or presenting with complex clinical symptoms. But the reality is that therapy can support individuals in all aspects of life, from the ostensibly benign to the most devastating. The prospect of reaching out can feel daunting and making first contact can often be the hardest part of the process. It is my aim to make you feel safe and at ease throughout. The experience of someone really listening can have a profound impact on a person’s emotional well-being and self-worth – and this lies at the core of my therapeutic approach.
